Masteron is a synthetic DHT derivative that is a highly androgenic injectable steroid (dihydrotestosterone). Water retention was not observed following DHT treatment because DHT does not aromatize to estrogens. This substance was believed to drastically improve shape and hardness in muscular tissue while boosting the vascular appearance of a contest ready athlete if a bodybuilder has reached a low body fat percentage.
Furthermore, due to receptor blockage, Masteron is anti-catabolic and anti-estrogenic in nature, according to published literature.
Even with its limited anabolic characteristics, Masteron, when combined with so-called bulk steroids, aided in the rapid development of strength and mass.
